How To Open Your Third Eye?


Often called the 'third eye,' the pineal gland is a small gland in the center of the brain.

This gland creates melatonin, which plays a role in the body's internal clock.


Because it regulates the body's circadian rhythm is why it's referred to as the body's internal clock. What are circadian rhythms? They are daily rhythms of the body, that include signals that make someone feel awake, tired, sleepy and alert.


A properly functioning pineal gland is synonymous with wellness and good health.

When calcification occurs ( which is the build-up of calcium phosphate crystals) that can deteriorate the pineal gland and is a health hazard.


Here are some tips for activating and decalcifying this essential gland.


Sungazing:


Sungazing is an ancient technique that is believed to improve health as well as induce states of physic abilities. You can try sungazing half an hour after sunrise and half an hour before sunset. It involved looking directly in the sun and getting into a meditative or trance like state while absorbing the energy from the sun.



Crystal healing:


Placing a crystal over your third eye while lying down during meditation or yoga will help activate the pineal gland. What kind of crystals can you use?

  • Amethyst

  • Azurite

  • Lolite

  • Lepidolite

  • Kunzite

  • Blue Kyanite

  • Blue Jasper

  • Blue Topaz

  • Blue Tourmaline

  • Sapphire

Crystals with violet or indigo hues are recommended and clear quarts helps to amplify their properties. During meditation, put the stone between your eyebrows for 15-30 minutes and viola!


Eliminate fluoride:


Excess consumption of synthetic fluoride leads to calcification of the pineal gland and disturbs melatonin production. Most toothpastes have fluoride so I would use a natural toothpaste without fluoride or go for natural alternatives like: sea salt, baking soda, dry brushing, coconut oil. Most tap water in the USA has fluoride in it, I would recommend getting a proper water filter to take the fluoride out. You can also get filters for shower heads to reduce the absorption of fluoride.


SAy Goodbye TO processed foods!

Processed foods have chemicals, preservatives, additives, pesticides and toxins are all risk factors for calcification. I would recommend you try organic, plant based foods without GMOS.



During meditation, place your awareness towards your third eye (in between your eyebrows). Focus on your breath and imagine being able to see through your third eye. Before long you will be seeing the world in a new perspective.



Remove the shades:


Did you know that our eyes need indirect sunlight exposure to function properly?

The pineal gland’s photoreceptor is activated by light reflected from the retina. So ditch the sunglasses and absorb those sunshine rays!



Welcome THE darkness:


Not only is the pineal gland activated by the sun, but also by complete darkness too.

During sleep time make sure your bedroom is as dark as possible. Your alarm clock, lamp, windows without blinds or cell phone can be very disruptive to the production of melatonin, which is the hormone associated with sleep regulation.


Supplement with iodinE:


Our diets in the west lack iodine which is essential in assisting the thyroid glad to regulate hormones. Iodine helps to flush out fluoride from the body which helps to protect the pineal gland. It is a mineral that is naturally concurring in sea vegetables like seaweed, wakame, algae and kelp. You can also find Iodine liquid supplements at your local health food store.




Our Kundalini energy rises with specific movements that rests coiled at the base of the spine.

When we activate our Kundalini energy within, we connect to the cosmic energy with the physical body and root it into earth. This serpentine energy flows upward, activating the 33 vertebrae points until it reaches the pineal gland and crown chakra. This is the same energy that illuminates the third eye.
