What Is A Dimension, And How Many Are There?

“Time is relative. In human life, time is experience. The faster you archive a significant experience to your memory, the more you live in the same clock time. In physics, experience is represented by the distance traveled, and this entire thing is called the Relativity of Time. I want to age and die through archiving my experiences, not watching my biological clock. Please don't waste my clock time with mediocrity and egotism, let me use it towards serving to others.”
~ Alper Mazun

From my understanding, dimensions are simply the different facets of what we perceive to be reality. We are aware of the three dimensions that surround us on a daily basis – those that define the length, width, and depth of all objects in our universes. It only takes three numbers to pinpoint your physical location at any given moment.

Below, is a simplified explanation of the dimensions:

First Dimension

A line connecting two points. There is no height and no depth, only a width. You can call this the x-axis.

Second Dimension

Now we have added height or the y-axis. You can use a triangle as an example of this.

Third Dimension

We have now added the z-axis or depth. We start to experience the world in the third dimension. This dimension includes volume and the ability to cross sections from objects. It's space without time.

Fourth Dimension

The fourth dimension uses time to plot an object’s location in the universe. As I mentioned, the third dimension is space without time; in this dimension we now officially have space time.

The fifth dimension is the start of the higher dimensions. Scientists believe that these dimensions are impossible for us to perceive because they exist on a subatomic level. These higher dimensions deal with possibilities: which would allow us to see the similarities and differences between our current reality and our new one.

Sixth Dimension

An entire plane of new worlds exist in the sixth dimension that would allow you to see all possible futures, presents, and pasts.

Seventh Dimension

In the seventh dimension up through the ninth, there are the possibility of new universes. They have new physical forces of nature and different laws of light and gravity. We begin to encounter new universes which have a different beginning from ours.

Eight Dimension

The eight dimension is a plane of all the possible futures and pasts for each universe, that stretch infinitely.

Ninth Dimension

The ninth dimension has no universal laws of physics and the conditions of each individual universe.

The Tenth, or Eleventh Dimension

At this point, anything is possible in these dimensions. There are all futures, all pasts, all beginnings and all ends, which is basically a dimension of anything you can imagine. Everything comes together as one.
